StoryFest Newquay presents: Tom Palmer (ages 8 – 13)
Find Tom Palmer at Newquay Orchard, on Friday 14 August at 10:30am, this summer holiday as part of the StoryFest Newquay line up of free events.
Step back in time to Cornwall WW2 with Tom and discover facts about our home in that era – keen book worms can prepare for a history quiz which will be a part of the event too!
A prolific children’s author Tom has written over 70 books and is the ambassador of Cornwall Libraries. Based in Cornwall Tom used to work in a bookshop before he became an author.
Children attending will receive a free copy of Tom’s popular If the Invader Comes during the StoryFest Newquay event. Claim your free ticket now or use the sign up sheet next time you’re at Newquay Library.
StoryFest Newquay is hosted by Clemo Books in partnership with Newquay Library and Newquay Town Council and funded by the Penguin Children’s Bookshop Grant to celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026.
