StoryFest Newquay presents: Becca Rogers (ages 8 – 12)
Part of our free author-led summer line up of children’s events is a storytelling and creative writing workshop with Becca Rogers at Newquay Library, on Friday 31 July at 10:30am.
Becca blends magic and realism to create big-hearted middle grade adventures. The author grew up in rural Devon and her middle grade book The Girl with Gills was a Waterstones Best Children’s Book of the Month.
Children will receive a free copy of Becca’s latest adventure book Scamp Saltbrace & The Tidal Clock during the StoryFest Newquay event. Claim your free ticket now or use the sign up sheet next time you’re at Newquay Library.
StoryFest Newquay is hosted by Clemo Books in partnership with Newquay Library and Newquay Town Council and funded by the Penguin Children’s Bookshop Grant to celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026.
